An A-Z 0f Dinosaurs

An A-Z 0f Dinosaurs

Welcome to the Dinosaurus, complete and in order, from Allosaurus to Zephyrosaurus – and one for each letter of the alphabet in between. For each of 26 pre-historic monsters there’s a poem – appropriately a reworking of an old, traditional rhyme. The rhymes are displayed and read aloud by their creator, children’s writer David Horner, and each is accompanied by a vivid, full-colour illustration created from the ever fertile imagination of artist Anne Hodgkiss. Each poem and illustration is followed by the rhyme’s original version. Also included is a Timeline, showing the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous Periods, marked with letters of the alphabet, to show just when each of the 26 chosen dinosaurs lived. A click on any letter will take the reader straight to the chosen dinosaur.Alternatively, readers can turn the pages of this audio e-book, taking each letter in turn, in a unique celebration of the dinosaur, the whole forming an invaluable addition to the classroom materials on these long-lost masters of the earth. All the money raised from the sale of our resources is donated to a local North West charity for children called MedEquip4Kids.If you enjoy this latest resource from Goodeyedeers we would love to hear from you, so please leave us a review.

Harry and His Bucketful of Dinosaurs unit

Harry and His Bucketful of Dinosaurs unit

Planning and resources for a three week unit based on the Harry and His Bucketful of Dinosaurs books. My Year 1/2 class loved this unit and ended by writing some lovely Harry adventures of their own. This unit may have some resources or ideas that could suit children working within EYFS as these stories are so popular. Afraid the notebook files of the books were too large to upload, but taking photos of the pages and running them through notebook worked well. I hope others find this useful.....
