Learning Welsh The Fun Way! - Bundle

Learning Welsh The Fun Way! - Bundle

Are you learning Welsh? Are you looking for a fun way to learn Welsh? I have developed a way to learn different languages based on my experience as an ESL teacher. This pack has 57 different settings for students to talk about in Welsh. The worksheets themselves are in English and the students do need to translate the places and objects they see into Welsh. At the end of the session, the students can play a fun game of word bingo to show they have mastered that day's vocabulary. Try it, it is a lot of fun for everyone!

Vocabulary Treasure Hunt

A fun plenary or starter game for the main beginners' topics in any language. On each slide there are 16 squares with five treasures hidden behind them. Students translate the vocabulary on the boxes and if they get it right they choose a square and get a point/sweet/sticker if they find a treasure. This activity is based on the gamification theory that random rewards make games more addictive and fun. There are 34 slides with treasures hidden in different places about these topics (two slides for each topic) Numbers 1-20 Numbers 20-100 Letters Animals Family Months Dates Appearance Verb endings Question words Sports Hobbies Hobbies/Sports and Time phrases Subjects Days Town Food Note: In presentation mode click on squares to make them disappear and reveal the treasures.

Welsh Role Play Cards / Chwarae rol

Welsh Role Play Cards / Chwarae rol

Welsh role play cards which can be used when doing oral activities. There are 2 ways to use them: - The children are that person (this way the children don't use the same "I like..." "I don't like..." phrases all the time. They work in pairs, one asks questions and one answers being the role play card. - They use the cards and speak in 3rd person about the person on the cards. Can also be used as a template to make your own! It is a simple resource but I hope its useful!

Your Club, Your Way: Digital Literacy

Your Club, Your Way: Digital Literacy

This resource supports the Digital Competencies Framework in Wales by offering a variety of opportunities to develop digital literacy skills in a film club or classroom setting. Focussed on the short film, The Storyteller, but with other film suggestions available, a series of activities enable learners to analyse film using the 3Cs (camera, character and colour) and 3Ss (setting, sound and story) of film and also to make their own moving image content. Furthermore, there are links and suggestions for a range of apps and software that can be used to develop digital competence through film and filmmaking. This resource is also available in Welsh. The accompanying PowerPoint presentations in both English and Welsh are available at the following link: https://www.intofilm.org/resources/1255 Mae'r adnodd hwn yn cefnogi'r Fframwaith Cymwyseddau Digidol yng Nghymru trwy gynnig amrywiaeth o gyfleoedd i ddatblygu sgiliau llythrennedd digidol mewn clwb ffilm neu yn y ddosbarth. Mae'n canolbwyntio ar y ffilm fer, The Storyteller, gan gynnig awgrymiadau am ffilmiau eraill hefyd, mae cyfres o weithgareddau yn galluogi dysgwyr i ddadansoddi ffilm gan ddefnyddio'r 2c (camera, cymeriad) 2ll (lleoliad, lliw) a 3s (sain a stori), a hefyd i greu ffilmiau eu hunain. Ar ben hynny, mae cysylltiadau ac awgrymiadau ar gyfer amrywiaeth o apps a feddalwedd y gellir eu defnyddio i ddatblygu cymhwysedd digidol drwy ffilm.
