A year 7 lesson that looks at the Burgess model. There is also an DME exercise where students have to decide where the Griffins should live. This allows them to look at real life sections of the model.

A resource created for KS3 students to carry out a DME on where a wind farm should be built. This would last around 3 lessons ending in a debate. However the resources can be used to re organise the lesson in a number of different ways.

In order to support SEN and EAL students learning the formations I have created formation 5, where each formation is broken down into 5 steps. i created this mini SOW on Afghanistan for my year 8's. The whole topic is based around research techniques where students use the school library extensively as well as the internet to produce a final project to explain why the the country can be described as being in &'turmoil&';.

Three templates for roll a landform, case study and example for students to use to revise the new AQA spec for GCSE. Students roll the dice and talk for as long as they can about what they have rolled. The student who can talk the longest wins.
