These sheets were edited to consolidate knowledge of key terms and apply teachings to each topic.

The pack includes: - 12 mark guide for students including tips, description of how to structure paragraphs and sentence starter. - 12 mark peer or self assessment grid (also useful for teachers) to help asses 12 mark responses. I have mine laminated for students to use when writing them too as a checklist. - Three model 12 mark answers one for Christian practices, one for relationships and families and one for religion and like. - Two 'starter' activity slides I have used to encourage students to engage with the model answers. Display pack to help encourage growth mindset when learning great time saver. Super quick and easy way to brighten up your class room. The pack includes: - The Growth letters - Mindset as an acrostic poem - 16 inspirational quotes from a variety of philosophers, inventors, sportsmen, activists and a couple of celebrities. The quotes could also serve as a discussion tool during tutor/ discussion time. In my image the sheets were all printed A4 then laminated but if you had more space they would look brilliant in A3 too. Please remember to rate the resource - happy decorating!

These resources were made and used to consolidate learning on the topics 'Religious Attitudes to Drug Abuse' and 'Religious Attitudes to World Poverty.' Each lesson includes: - A Do Now task to encourage engagement with religious teachings. - A Lesson objective, success criteria and knowledge dump starter. - Activity sheets to be printed A3 to be completed (some students may require materials for this mine used exercise books) - A 321 exit ticket

This resource includes a do now booklet with activities that allow students to engage with rights useful during tutor time. It also includes a timetable of rights you could use and ideas on how to discuss them with students and raise awareness of them which can be used for reflection/collective worship/ PSHE/ citizenship.

These lessons were made and taught Y9 students for Theme A relationships and families Religious studies AQA from a Christian perspective. They are adaptable to all abilities and have been used with a variety of sets. Each PPT was used for a 50 minute lesson. The lessons include starters, videos and activities. Following the lessons I would recommend completing an exam style question Homework Tasks were set using the information found on bitezize/GCSEPOD in accordance with the lesson.

This powerpoint is a collection of slides to help run interfaith activities in school. They could be used as a basis for assembly, form time activities or a whole lesson. All in all there are a possible ten different sessions covered (lasting around 15 minutes each) which are on the following: - Explain what interfaith week is all about - Quotes to be show the importance of it - Links to video clips to be shown regarding interfaith week - Links to articles that could be read - Slides with similarities between religions to be discussed - A link to British values Some slides may also be used as posters to spread awareness of interfaith week. These lessons were made and taught to both Y9 and Y10 groups studying for Unit 3 Religion and Morality AQA. They are adaptable to all abilities and have been used with a variety of sets. The lessons include starters, videos and activities, most activities are original however one or two lessons refer to the textbook for information finding purposes. Following the lessons I would recommend completing a past paper question as an assessment. Lesson designed for AQA religious studies B, Religion and morality. The lesson includes: - Do now activity to settle students - Starter which involves whole class feedback. - Activity where students apply teachings to exam style questions -Peer/self assessment in line with success criteria. All resources could easily be amended for other topics/ teachings. Good lesson format for all ability students and encourages students to be reflective.

This lesson introduces students to the theory of utilitarianism according to Jeremy Bentham and Hedonic calculus. The lesson encourages students to first think from their personal opinion before responding to moral situations as utilitarian. Information and task sheets have been included. The lesson was planned in accordance with OCR a level specification but could also be used with KS4 students but I assume it would need longer to cover with them (at least 2 hours).

Lesson on pressure groups linked to abortion rights and the society for protection of the unborn child. The success criteria of the lesson are below: Walking – able to outline what a pressure group is and give reasons for them in society (E-G) Running – able to explain the contrasting work of the pressure groups Abortion Rights and The Society for the Protection of Unborn Children (C-D) Sprinting – able to use a two sided argument to back up your opinions on the abortion law in the UK (A*-B) This was used for the human rights unit from AQA Religion and Citizenship legacy spec.

Set of notes designed to support learning on The Shari’a as outlined in specification for OCR Developments in Islamic thought topic 3. The document includes a set of knowledge check questions at the end, exerts from wider reading and external links to additional reading/ video sources. It may be used prior to lessons to introduce term and ideas, as a revision tool or as notes to go through the topic in a lesson. Great time saving resource.

A document including a variety of quotes from Joseph Fletcher, the Bible and scholars which enable students to explain and evaluate Situation Ethics. It is in the table format encouraging the students to: Highlight a short section of the quote Put the quote into their own words/ say what it suggests. Apply it to a key element of Situation Ethics Evaluate the assertion from the quote, what are its merits, who may disagree. Great as a revision task for students, to be completed as shorter homework tasks alongside learning of the unit or as main classwork tasks throughout the unit. It includes extension tasks which encourage students to reflect on learning and make links across the course. Designed with Eduqas in mind but the content is applicable to all A Level specifications.
