This pack provides two PowerPoints, one focuses upon solicitors and the other deals with barristers. Both are tailored with the OCR A Level Law specification in mind. The PowerPoints provide a brief background, explain the routes to qualification, the work that each profession undertakes and also looks at the governing bodies. There are points for discussion throughout which will aid students in answering essay style questions. Included is also a key terms quiz and a domino game.

This is a Power Point that can be used to teach Private Nuisance for Undergraduate or A level students. For A level students, I would advise limiting the number of cases referred to so as to ensure the level of difficulty is suitable.

Sentencing in Criminal Law UK

This set of resources is everything needed for a lesson on sentencing in the UK. I would spread this over two lessons for A level students. 1 lesson focusing on aims and the next on the various types of sentencing. Included are a PowerPoint, activities, website links, quiz. You will find the PowerPoint may contain more information than needed for A level. This is to allow you to amend/remove whatever is not needed for your lesson.
