A display which can take up a double display board; great to use on the corridor to show students shows that they can watch on UK Netflix which link to the science curriculum.

In the photo example, I printed some in A3 and some A4.

The worksheet contains 20 short-answer questions throughout the documentary to keep students engaged, plus 2 reflection questions.

GREAT FOR COVER LESSONS OR HOMEWORK
This resource contains a worksheet (and answer sheet, with answer timings in the documentary) for pupils to complete as they watch episode 1 of the 2021 Netflix documentary series “Human: The World Within” - (51-minutes).
This episode is called “React” and is about the structure and function of the human nervous system.
This fits in nicely with the B10 unit of AQA GCSE Biology, as is discusses the structure of the nervous system and the eye.
The worksheet contains 14 short-answer questions throughout the documentary to keep students engaged and 1 longer reflection question at the end.
(Please note: I used the English (UK) spelling for the term neurone within the answers)

The worksheet contains 16 short-answer questions throughout the documentary to keep students engaged. I highly recommend that if showing this to a classroom of students you turn on the subtitles to make it easier for them to identify the answers.

This resource contains a worksheet (and answer sheet, with answer timings in the documentary) for pupils to complete as they watch episode 2of the 2021 Netflix documentary series “Human: The World Within” - (52-minutes).
This episode is called “Pulse” and is about the structure and function of the circulatory system.
This fits in nicely with the B4 unit of AQA GCSE Biology, as is discusses the heart, blood, blood vessels and problems with the heart such as coronary heart disease/heart attacks.

This resource contains a worksheet (and answer sheet, with answer timings in the documentary) for pupils to complete as they watch episode 3 of the 2021 Netflix documentary series “Human: The World Within” - (52-minutes).
This episode is called “Fuel” and is about where we get glucose from, how we digest and absorb glucose and the consequences of an unhealthy diet.
This fits in nicely with the B3 and B9 unit of AQA GCSE Biology, as is discusses enzymes, the structure of the digestive system and also how we use the products of digestion to supply energy to the body.

This fits in nicely with the B18 unit of AQA GCSE Biology, as it discusses sustainable fishing and food security.
The worksheet is split into two parts so that you can watch half the documentary in one lesson, and half the next. It includes 30 short-answer questions throughout the documentary to keep students engaged.
WARNING: There’s a scene which some students may find upsetting (shows the killing of whales) from 1:13:00-1:20:00.
