Activities created to compliment and extend the textbook, but really it can be used as a standalone lesson on the topic of family. A lesson focused on developing the learning of family idioms, with practice across the skills of speaking, reading and writing. Activity took 2 hours to create but it was well worth it - students worked in pairs and had fun trying to complete the activity first. Rewards can be given for extra motivation. As students will have to read the text carefully, the whole activity will easily take at least 30 minutes to carry out. All instructions and handouts required inside of pack. Answers included too. A different and fun way to get students reading for detail without complaining!
