I put together this power point and have used it successfully for many years while delivering the Sports Leaders Level 1 and 2 Award.
The majority of students who have successfully gained the qualification have displayed social & emotional difficulties, Special Educational Needs and behaviour difficulties. The award has enabled them to develop personal confidence and self esteem, improve their communication skills, both verbal and non verbal and increase their fitness and health.
Each module is broken down and explained in detail, so that each students fully understands the skills and qualities of a positive sports leader.
I was observed by OFSTED during a school inspection and the feedback I got from them was excellent.

This is a fantastic resource I have put together that is fun and educational. I have used this with many year groups and they all enjoy playing it, while at the same time developing their numeracy skills and confidence in Mathematics.
Questions range from level 1 to level 3.
Students are given a set number of poker chips, or money and have the opportunity to gamble it on a question. If they are successful they win the amount they bet, if they get the question wrong they lose the amount they bet.

I have used this quiz very successfully while I have been working with Keystage 3 and Keystage 4 students.
