This assembly looks at 5 of the biggest religions in the world and specifically looks at their places of worship. In the powerpoint presentation, we begin by watching a video with a brief overview of the buildings, then we look closer at a Christian Church, Muslim Mosque, Jewish Synagogue, Hindu Temple and Sikh Temple. Each image takes you to an informative video approx 2-3 mins long. Whole assembly should take approx. 20-30 mins long.

This is a Gingerbread Story Map involving story recall and fine motor skills. The children use their phonics to read the characters, then cut out the correct one and stick onto the template. The final image is left blank for the children to either draw the ending or make up their own. My class absolutely loved doing this and every child ordered them successfully!
