I currently work in a Secondary School for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs. These resources have all been tailored for these students but can easily be adapted for your students, the lessons focus on active learning with as much group work and discussion/debate as possible. I am a Religious Studies subject specialist but I currently deliver a range of subjects including: English, PSHE, Citizenship, History, Geography and Young Enterprise. Please leave a review :)

This is a resource which I have used for the past two years during Refugee Week, it has had an excellent response with students and adults engaged throughout. This resource can also be used for teaching about Refugees and Asylum Seekers at any point in the year with activities and worksheets focusing on empathy and understanding.

This is a lesson that I delivered to Year 10 SEMH students and received an outstanding grade, easily adapted for KS3 and KS4. Includes opportunities for collaboration, independent work, self-assessment and peer-assessment.
