Problems include a range of word problems some include pictures of the coins.
A great resource to use to further develop children’s understanding of giving change.
A set of differentiated worksheets for children in Year 2. The LA and MA worksheets could be used for Year 1.
Each worksheet contains a set of bar models with either the whole or a part missing.
Children can stick these in books and write the number sentences next to it before adding the missing number to the bar chart. As an extension they could write all the addition/subtraction number sentences that match the bar model.
