This in my NPQSL submission for October 2020, just received my results this week. My title is: Improving the accuracy and reliability of the school’s assessment of effective teaching and learning through the use of pupil progress focused observations and quality first teaching. I basically manage to persuade school to purchase the IRIS Connect kit to record T&L and for staff to reflect on their own practice. I am secondary based. I achieved 27/28 marks.

Double bubble is a great way to ask pupils waht they already know about a subject at the beginning of the lesson, at the end they can fill the 2nd bubble in to show rapid progress in a single lesson.

A great way to peer assess each other work, can be used as a plenary or as an evaluation tool.
