A fun colouring activity for students to review the colour wheel. When your students are finished their project and they come to you with “I’m done!”, you look at their work and they really are done. - Way ahead of time! This is a really great time-filler activity, especially after an introduction to colour theory - as this sheet helps students revisit key terms about the colour wheel. My students love, love, love my hand drawn activity sheets. It went down well, right at the end our Picasso project.

I use this sheet on the first day of school for little kids like Reception or Year 1. It's a great way to gain insight on their motor skills.
Students simply colour in the shapes, cut them out and then stick them into their sketchbooks. They can even label the shapes, or try to redraw the shapes. This way you can see how well they're writing and recognising their shapes.
