This is a 48 page theory workbook designed for students with limited theoretical knowledge who are starting their Music GCSE. The booklet contains information and activities on the following topics: - Notes Values Barlines Staves Pitch Stems, Beams and Ledger Lines Time Signatures Rests Ties and Dots Accidentals Tones and Semitones Major Scales Key Signatures Major Chords Degrees of the Scale Intervals Rhythms Relative Minors and more. The information in this booklet is a mixture of my own analysis and that which I have collected from other sources. The standard is in keeping with ABRSM Grade 1. I have designed and presented the theory in a focused and easy to understand way. The pages in this booklet are available also in three shorter booklets labelled 1, 2 and 3.
