I used this lesson for a Year 3 class on non-chronological report writing. The children used subheadings for their paragraphs on contrasting weather environments and what would be appropriate to wear in each. This activity was used for a Key Stage 2 Problem Solving day. The clues were printed and laminated and hidden all over the school. The children had to find the clues, answer the question (in mixed year group teams) and use their answers to work out the letters (the answer is 'If you can solve this you can have one housepoint each').
