Instructions on powerpoint on how pupils will complete practical. Looking at how length of wire and width of wire effects resistance. Used with low ability year 8 pupils - put into context of moving down corridors.

Pupils use different products (household / foods) to test universal indicator. This is a follow up lesson to being introduced to indicators. They will use their knowledge of universal indicator, pH scale and acids and alkalis to complete a table about different products pH. There are two tables attached, ones with headings and one without - simple differentiation to get higher ability pupils to come up with their own headings after given instructions. This was used with a mixed abiilty year 7 group

Homework including pictures and what the scientist did. Pupils have to research the different scientists and match complete a match up. Engaging pupils in scientists of the past, what they did and improving research skills.

Two lessons on sound for KS3 low ability pupils. Hearing damage includes information, a youtube video and a table pupils need to complete. The Bell Jar includes looking at how sound moves - this will not fill a whole lesson - I followed up this with information about the ear.

Includes research activities, some boardworks animations, practical sessions and quizzes. This was completed over multiple lessons and can be cut up and added to as needed.
