This is a unit of work prepared for the German Netflix TV show ‘Wir sind die Welle’. There are 8 activities in total, one introductory activity, one activity to follow each episode and one writing assessment activity for the end. This aimed at 16 year olds who are either A Level or IBDP Standard / Higher Level. It works well as a cultural unit on German Film/TV or complimenting a unit on Politics, Social / Global Issues. The resources can be adapted to suit your classes.

This was created specifically for my Ab Initio German group, but is suitable for KS3 - GCSE German. It’s basic, but clearly laid out writing mat descirbing rooms of the house with adjectival agreements and prepostions.

This was created for my Ab Initio Group to practise letter writing text form for the IB Exams, but that combined culture. There is gapfill activity to give students to structure for writing the letter, a writing mat with some key phrases. Students should have some knowledge of the past tense, but this can be translated if need be.
