A great FREE resource which is easy to teach. No planning required! Just download the PowerPoint and start teaching. Can be used to complement any school curriculum. Links in easily with the latest UK National Curriculum. This is a great introduction to nouns which can be used over and over again for teaching and revision. Print out slides to use as worksheets or use whiteboards. You decide. This is the perfect foundation on which children and adults can build on their knowledge of nouns. Objectives and outcomes include: I can recognise a noun. I can use a noun in a sentence. I can test words to see if they are nouns. I understand that sentences need nouns. I can tell you what type of noun is being used in sentence. I can distinguish between different types of noun including common, proper, countable, uncountable, concrete, abstract, compound and collective nouns.
