This bundle includes all lessons needed to teach the GCSE topic of Crime and Punishment. You will need the Purple Christianity GCSE AQA book for a couple of the lessons. The lessons include re-cap past paper questions, past paper plenaries, clips, debates, paired tasks, independent tasks and tasks that allow pupils to move around. There is no assessment as I just use the AQA past papers (off the website) as an assessment. These lessons cover everything that needs to be covered according to the AQA spec. Individual lessons can be purchased in my shop.

This lesson introduces pupils to ethical theories by applying them to the story - The Grinch. This lesson includes a clip from the old version of the Grinch with a worksheet. The tasks ask pupils to identify the moral problems in the story which they then look at from different religious perspectives. This is a great lesson if you want to get pupils engaged with ethics.

This is a creative lesson to get pupils to think about moral issues and how to deal with them using the ethical theories of Utilitarianism, Natural Moral Law and Situation Ethics. Pupils have the opportunity to learn the story and discuss it and there is a creative task of writing a story which they can do for fun or assessment purposes (there is a mark scheme).

This is a lesson that focuses on the birth of the Buddha and his life of luxury. There is a past exam question, a run through of the different types of questions so that pupils can have a go at making their own and swapping them, there is a story board task (with pictures already done for pupils) and there is chance for discussion. This is everything that pupils need to know for the AQA A Spec on this strand of the spec.
