I created this bingo game to engage pupils in converting between 12 and 24 hour clock. I have also used this as a quiz using mini white boards. This was very popular with my year 7 class.

I created this game to engage year 8 and year 9 pupils studying ratio. I used it as a starter, plenary and a quiz.

I used this with many lower ability classes as a settling activity.
Pupils draw a 3 x 3 grid and enter the numbers given on slide 2. When their numbers appear (they need to answer the question), they circle their answers. They can play for a line and a full house. The majority of my pupils found it engaging.

I created the two resources for my year 10 and year 11 foundation Maths classes to help revise the topics for their Maths GCSE. There is one new style with separate answers and one old style with answers.
All created in power point. The questions are hyperlinked from the menu. The 2nd power point is identical with the answers.

I created this resource using Power Point (190+ slides) to use with my year 10 and year 11 classes to revise for both the Mathematics and Numeracy Papers. The questions are mainly to Grade D but include some Grade C also. I have included some answers which appear with a mouse click. (This is still work in progress).

I used this resource with my year 10 set 2. It includes 10 starter questions using a calculator to work out the trig ratio and angles. The lessons introduce the Sine, Cosine and Tangent ratio one at a time with examples and 6 questions and answers for each. The final 6 questions are mixed with answers. It moves on to calculating the missing angles and includes some worded problems also.

I created this resource using boxes to aid understanding of dividing in a ratio. I have used this with classes in year 7 and 8 and a GCSE Foundation class.

I created these resources to use as starters in my maths lessons as a revision resource for the National Tests.

I give my year 8/9 set 1 a selection of starter questions each lesson. I then print a selection of specific DIRT topic questions and give them to those who have answered them incorrectly a few times as a DIRT activity.

Several treasure hunts with questions in the style of the numeracy procedural questions. 8 different sets which form a loop when complete.

Kagan Rally coach involves 2 pupils working together to explain to each other in turn how to solve the problem . Pupil A explains and Pupil B listens, praises or coaches as necessary. They then swap.

I created this resource for my set 1 class in year 8 and year 9 class to revise the topics covered so far this term.
Includes: Standard Form, Nth term, Estimation, Angles in Quadrilaterials/Parallel lines, Reciprocals, Calculating bearings, significant figures, mean/mode/median/range, cubes and roots, angles in polygons.

Created for my year 7 and year 8 class. I have also used this for my Maths GCSE foundation class. A mixture of problems involving proportional reasoning. Can be used as an individual worksheet, rally coach resource or for peer assessment.

I created these for my year 8 class to revise questions in the style of the numeracy procedural tests. I used them as starters throughout the year. Very effective as they gained confidence every lesson. Also easy to change the numbers to use again.
