A year 7 physical theatre scheme that takes students through an understanding of the origins of physical theatre, Laban’s Eight Efforts and the work of Frantic Assembly. This includes 4 lessons on physical theatre and then a creating, performing and written response assessment lesson taking it to 7 lesson in total. All DO IT NOWs need to be created based on learning in the previous lesson. Main body of the lessons provided, including a focus on literacy, and REVIEW IT NOWs are differentiated to provide students different levels of challenge. Written responding lesson is also differentiated with 4 different ways that students can respond to their practical work.
