A Unit of work to introduce learners to the basics of word processing. Designed for adults but can be easily adapted to suit any age group. Contains worksheets intended to be shared digitally to help learners develop what they have learned and PowerPoint presentations to guide the lessons.

Word Processing Lesson 1
Intended for adult learners with low computer literacy to introduce them to the basics of word processing. The presentation covers shortcut keys and toolbar icons and is accompanied by worksheets that are intended to be shared digitally with the learners so they can practice.

Follows on from my Word Processing Lesson 1 presentation and involves a discussion of the benefits of word processing to businesses and individuals. Also includes a task for learners to begin developing their word processing skills.
