Uses of Radiation - Research Task New AQA Physics

(0)
Student research the various uses of radiation and produce a revision resource. They have the choice as to what type of resource they would like to make - animation, poster etc. Research outcomes are stated and have a RAG rating for students to ensure they have the correct information in their resource as well as checking their own understanding. Once complete, students swap resources and use each others to revise from.

AQA New Physics 2018: Revision checklist - Waves

(0)
Worksheet for students to revise key words, equations and SOL statements for the Waves topic within the AQA Physics 2018 Scheme. SOL statements are for the HT and are student friendly and have both 'Revised' and 'To review' assessment columns. Revision checklists for the other Physics topics will be uploaded in the near future. Any questions, please ask!

Differentiated Electromagnetic Spectrum Formative Assessment

Designed for Unit 6 - Waves of the New 2018 AQA Physics Course. Can also be used with the New 2018 AQA Trilogy Unit 23. Students work through the success criteria to research the Electromagnetic Spectrum and apply it to a Universe whether the EM spectrum does not exist. Misconceptions are also highlighted through the final Success criteria point which addresses sound and whether you can hear in a Universe without an EM spectrum. Two resources are included to suit both higher and lower ability classes. Small tweaks were made to support students. I have used these resources with both Higher and Foundation students. Feedback and reviews are always welcome! Thank you!
