Reading Record Sheet with Comprehension Questions - Free!!

(0)
Reading records are a good way to assess how much reading a child has done. This can be either at home, school or in reading groups. However, its not just about a child reading for a certain amount of minutes, it’s also about their understanding (comprehension) of what they have read. Some students find it very easy to skim read or are able to decode words with ease but when it comes to the actual understanding of the text or book they have read it can sometimes seem as if they haven’t read it at all. That is not the case its just their comprehension. This reading record sheet aims to help you to help them by knowing if they understand what they have read. What’s on the reading record sheet? There are 7 sections (1 week of reading) Each day has a different comprehension question (some are easier than others) Please note: Watermarks/blurred images will not be in your downloaded file! Descriptive Words Poster and Anchor Charts: Classroom Display, Reference Guide

parking creativity can often be challenging. That’s why I created this poster and anchor chart! The descriptive words are often used as prompts or reference. How-to-use I’ve created the same poster twice but in two different shades. The colors/shades may vary depending on the paper, ink and printer you are using. The poster will print on automatic letter size paper. You can change this in your printer setting to print on A3. Making the poster ideal for wall displays. The anchor charts will print 4 to one letter size page. Available in both color options. Simply select the page number you wish to print and enter the required amount. Remembering that 4 to a page will print. Anchor charts are ideal to stick in books and use as a reference guide. Having something quick to refer to often helps students and helps them learn how to reference/pin point to a certain word/area. ▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼▼ Copyright © Laurena Lakeside. BOOK REVIEW COMPREHENSION AND BOOK REVIEW TEMPLATE

(0)
This book review template is not just about summarising and re-writing. First the comprehension of the book your kiddos have read is grasped. Once sheet one is completed and has been checked by the teacher they can move on to creating their book review booklet. Comprehension page The comprehension page ask your students to summarise key parts. I recommend asking them to use bullet points as this will be easier to go back and double check. Review Booklet The booklet review will print on letter size paper and fold into four. Once the parts have been filled out your kiddos can decorate the cover and other parts by coloring sections in.
