From this children are to investigate and discuss the similarities and differences in toys through teachers bringing to attention the materials that toys were created with. This resource includes a PDF worksheet of an advert so that children can draw a toy and explain why they would want to play with this toy. This resource is differentiated through a different background (to be used as a display in the classroom) or using sentence prompts.

A poster which displays three history topics in each year group - covering the National Curriculum History Framework. This resource could be used as a poster around school to remind staff of their historical topics or could be used as part of a staff handbook/guide around history. This toy set is to be used in continuous provision in KS1 for a game. Children can either play through the toys by playing snap (requiring photocopying) or through a game of guess the toy.
