I believe that the role of an English teacher should extend far beyond providing academic skills in the classroom. As an English teacher, I hope to inspire and encourage students to always be ambitious, both scholastically and in their community. In observing this, I believe that embodies the responsibility of a teacher; a person who is devoted to leading, inspiring and investing in the student’s accomplishment. I hope to provide memorable experiences and outstanding opportunities, among encouraging a love of life-long learning. Being attentive of a child’s needs, abilities and objectives is vital in engaging and inspiring them, as well as facilitating the growth of positive and confident relationships between the pupil, teacher and education.
