This is a matching exercise whereby the child has to: say the sound Find the matching object to the sound Drag correct picture to sound This is the perfect activity to for children to recognise the alphabet and sounds and is suitable for Phase 1 of phonics. Also suitable for EAL learners who are new to English and learning to recognise the English language and name objects. You can download this via PPT, or the instruction PDF which has the link to the Google Drive slides! Option to share in Google Classroom for older EAL learners.

This is an interactive activity which involves learning the first 100 high frequency words. First the child has a go at sounding it out, then drawing it in the air, then making the words using the alphabet. This is great as a home-school activity for kids in Early Years or Year 1, a classroom board activity or a Google Classroom activity. Have fun and let me know how it goes!
