Pocket money is a reading activity with several exercises to check comprehension. Questions are designed to encourage the student to read the text and look for detail they include translation, tense recognition and gap-fill. I have used this with year 9 and above as revision of the topic and as a cover lesson as students can get on with the tasks with little or no support. The answers are included for self/peer or teacher marking.

A day trip is a work book for year 6- 8 students to use during a day trip to France. It has a variety of questions that will encourage students to read and write in French to answer them as well as ask questions to French people. All these activities can be completed on the day and filled into the workbook directly for reviewing/follow-up in a lesson. I have left spaces for you to add your own school logo and the logo of the town as well as a map of the town to indicate the main places and the meeting point

Dans ma chambre is a lesson plan and set of support materials from a lesson that was graded as OFSTED Outstanding. There is the presentation powerpoint of furniture, 2 versions of the powerpoint on prepositions including a thinking skills starter, the lesson plan, a preparation and self-assessment document and support sheets with breifing notes for your Learning Support Assistant for SEN and EAL. I have used it with all abilities in year 7 but it could be used with junior school students who have some knowledge of French. A fun lesson, enjoy!

Workbook, presentation and letter to parents. Everything you need to start planning your day trip to St. Omer the workbook is full of information and tasks for students, from those starting to learn French or those who have been doing it for a while, junior to year 7. I have used it with students who don't study languages and they have enjoyed using it. The presentation is to make sure the students are prepared for the day, designed to be shown in a pre-trip meeting when laying out your expectations for the day. The letter to parents is inviting them to send their child on the day-trip. I have used this format for many years and trips have always gone very smoothly. I hope you have a great day!

Workbook and answers, letter to parents inviting their child to take part, all you need to support your organisation of a day trip to Lille. Aimed at GCSE students, the workbook allows them opportunities to find out information independently about the town and use all the four skills whilst doing so. Have a great trip!
