Set of 5 lessons with the focus of the poem ‘Island Man’ by Grace Nichols. This is for a lower set with SEN. I have created fun activities which supports them understanding the poem. Also, i have created a homework which boosts language device understanding.

I have created a workbook which is for Year 7 and potentially Year 8 to build on their skills towards the GCSE Language Paper 1. I have used Alice in Wonderland, Harry Potter and The Hunger Games as texts to engage the readers. This can be used for all sets but can also be adapted more for SEN.
