Power Point - to practice using the past tense in French (le passé-composé) with "la voix active" and "la voix passive" - to learn about the expression "se faire +infinitif" - to review parts of the body Basically, the gingerbread man is trying to run away from the bat. Little at a time, the bat manages to eat a piece of the gingerbread man (one hand, one harm, the second hand...). The students learn to say: "The bat ate one hand of the gingerbread man. La chauve-souris a mangé une main du bonhomme en pain d'épice. One hand of the gingerbread man has been eaten by the bat. Une main du bonhomme en pain d'épice a été mangée par la chauve-souris. The gingerbread man had one of his hand eaten by the bat. Le bonhomme en pain d'épice s'est fait manger une de ses mains par la chauve-souris." The rules about the tenses are clearly given in this PPT. All correct answers have been recorded properly by a native French speaker. At the end, you will find a listening activity in which you need to match each listening to its correct image. I have designed all the images by myself. This teaching resource can be used to review the past tense, extend knowledge using the passive form and learn new common expressions in French.

French- Rules of agreement between the past participle and the complement

(0)
This file contains the rules of agreement for the past participle used with the auxiliaries "avoid" and "être" (passé-compose) clearly explained in French with examples. The most difficult part is usually to explain why sometimes the past participle agrees with the complement when using "avoir". Here, it is clearly explained and there is a complete activity to practice the rule. Highly recommended to reach A* French GCSE or A level

A whole package to use with the famous story "TROIS SOURIS PEINTRES" written by Ellen Stoll Walsh. - Reproduce the cover page of the book cutting out the three mice and the title in French (Alphas letters). You just need to paint a blank page using the primary colours red, yellow and blue and stick everything on it. Fun to do! - Experience mixing colours with "Le mélange des couleurs" and start using the signs "+" and "=" while painting the mice. You will get orange, purple and green. - Improve your students fine motor skills with "Les arcs de couleurs". They will be tracing coloured bows to help the mouse escape. - Start counting and adding numbers using 0, 1, 2, 3, + and = through the fun cut and stick "Mes premières additions". - Review your students knowledge about colours with "les nuages de couleur" (it can be laminated to use it many times). Perfect package to teach French from the age of 4 to 7.

Complete bilingual Tutorial to learn to teach French to toddlers

(0)
This complete tutorial is designed for educators who want to learn how to teach French to Toddlers, through a range of structured lessons. It includes the link to a 20 minutes tutorial video helping all teachers (even complete French beginners) to teach French to children the best way and develop bilingualism. It comes with a printable teacher's guide. It includes a video of the story, designed as a kind of e-book, together with its printable storybook. There is also another video to introduce the prepositions (behind, in front of, under and above) together with the vocabulary (star, moon and sun). It comes with over 12 back-to-back flashcards to use with a centre of activity on topology (with 4 levels of games- using 1 to 4 new key prepositions). The game is available to print with clear instructions. You will also find printable craft activities to make and act out the story. Finally, I have also added a bilingual Questions/ Answers on early science facts about the stars, the moon and the sun. There are many ideas given on how to precisely extend and differentiate the students learning skills. Learning Objectives: In this tutorial, you will learn how to introduce simple sentences and expressions commonly used by French toddlers. They like repetitive games. Playing "Hide and Seek" help them make a psychological link between being present and absent, himself/ herself and others. Toddlers build a big part of their life through imitation and games. It also develops their creativity. This is why I have build this patterned story. I have also included few words of early science (Earth, star, moon, sun, sky, day, night) and prepositions (behind, in front, under, above, in). I recommend to use this resource preferably with toddlers and young children up to the age of 7. If you feel anything is missing to be entirely satisfied, I will gladly design and add whatever is necessary.
