In 2014 I completed my bachelor’s degree in print-making and contemporary practice (1st Class Honours). I also hold a master’s degree in education with art, design, and digital media. The reason why I chose to pursue a career in art education is to make a positive difference to students’ lives through passing on my passion for art and watching their curiosity grow. I feel art education is an integral part of development for each child. Through presenting a platform for students’ to engage with their inner world, it can provide the medium for increased motivation, and artistic expression. I believe art education can provide the means to every student for the positive act of self-expression, and so facilitates them to manage their overall well-being.
