Boost Arithmetic’s SATS Practice Paper This pack includes: Complete arithmetic test paper Mark scheme Question level analysis tool Boost Arithmetic’s KS2 SATs pack is now available to buy. The Main Pack (Sets 1 - 3) 36 fully resourced short arithmetic lessons split up into 3 sets of 12. Each lesson lasts approximately 20 - 30 mins. Each lesson includes an input file (Smart Notebook or PowerPoint) to enable the teacher to model the concepts of the lesson in line with your school’s own calculation policy. There is an independent task for each lesson that enables the children to practise the concepts that have been modelled. Answer book. In short, everything that you need is ready for you to use, allowing you to concentrate on delivering the lessons. Arithmetic First Aid Kit The majority of children in a class should be aiming for 35+ marks on the arithmetic paper. However, there will, of course, be a small number of children that find maths more challenging. Regular practice is key in helping embed methods in the long term memory; this programme provides that little bit of extra focussed practice that some children need to help make the difference. We have carefully analysed the composition of arithmetic papers from 2016 onwards and pulled out the concepts that make up around 20 of the marks and are achievable for children who may find some aspects of arithmetic challenging. There is also a mini assessment paper and question level analysis tool that can be used either before the intervention, after, or both. Assessment Pack Two assessment papers created using analysis of the arithmetic papers from 2016 onwards. Each comes with a question analysis tool that allows you to identify the gaps in the children’s knowledge. The papers can also be used to build up ‘exam stamina’ ahead of the SATs.
