Show Me Tell Me Car Theory Questions

Great booklet I put together for my sister when practicing her driving test! Show Me, Tell Me are the questions they will ask and the areas of the car that they ask before you start driving on your test. They ask two per test, you get one minor whether you get all wrong or just one. Has every possible question in it and answers and areas of the car they will ask to see with answers. Hope you enjoy!

Explore Reading! Booklet

This is an amazing resource that I made to get children of any age (I use it for primary and secondary) to look at a wider range of texts and to develop understanding in all areas of writing (eg. structure, layout, purpose, format, text type). This resource is 34 pages but is set to print as an A5 booklet. It has a front cover, a page on how 20 minutes of reading a day can improve reading dramatically, a page on how to prepare yourself to get the best out of reading, a page on how to use the book and a page on all the types of texts the student needs to read. These include newspapers, play scripts, comics, football report, diary, letter, fiction and non-fiction etc. There are a total of 14 to be completed. I give these to my students to complete at home and at least 1 should be done per week; but they could be done in school time. I hope you like it:)

Strengths and Weaknesses

This document is great for students to identify and recognise their strengths and weaknesses and acknowledge in which areas support would help. I complete this with my small mentor groups so I can also plan activities that will benefit from where the student recognises they need support and help. The download consists of an information sheet on how to identify strengths and weaknesses and a 2 page worksheet for the student to complete with examples and a teacher box at the bottom for teachers/staff to write notes and where they think they can provide support. I hope you like it! Please also see my mentoring/tutoring bundle!
A Level Psychology Research Task

A Level Psychology Research Task

Great research task for students to learn to be able to find information from books, magazines, journals and articles. Task has 6 separate topics which are abnormalities, social, memory, attachment, stress and research methods. There are 2 questions for each heading for students to work on. For each one, students have to write the book/article as to where they found the information, author, page number/chapter and the answer to the question. Would take a 2/3 lessons if they were in a library, looking for the information or 1/2 lesson if they were to use computers. Hope you like it:)
One Word Learn! Vocabulary Starter PowerPoints

One Word Learn! Vocabulary Starter PowerPoints

3 Resources
INCLUDES BOTH POWERPOINTS AND A STARTER IDEA DOCUMENT (3 pages)! One Word Learn! Is a brilliant and effective way of getting secondary students to learn new vocabulary regularly. The PowerPoint is colourful and funky; personalise it with your name! The idea is to introduce 1 new word at the start of each English lesson (could also be used as a house or extra-curricular activity). You would spend about 7-10 minutes, start to finish on this. For each word there are 4 slides: Title slide: Introduces the word. Definition slide: Gives definition of the word from Oxford Dictionary. Example slide: Two sentences showing the context in which you could use the word in. Activity slide: A wide range of English activities to complete using your new words; such as synonyms, antonyms, sentences, word search, similes, metaphors etc. There are 10 words included in this PowerPoint and 41 slides in total. Our whole school use it and the progress and feedback has been extremely positive! Hope you like them!:)

Perfect for printing and laminating to give out for students to make sure they know all of the definitions when talking about shapes! Suited for primary students. I ask students to copy definitions into their books with a sketch of the corresponding picture and to then draw the 2D shapes along with any others they may know. Hope you like it:)
