An illustrated advent calendar for December 2021 with 25 reading-related activities chosen to inspire a love of reading for pleasure, and also get excited about Christmas! This could be used in classrooms, libraries, or for families to enjoy at home. If printed in A3, you might be able to cover each box with a small post-it note to reveal a new activity each day! Each activity is loosely related to Christmas and some of them include: ‘Draw your favourite book character in a Christmas jumper!’ (for Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day), ‘Read a book with a red or green cover’ and ‘Ask a friend, someone in your family, or your teacher what their favourite Christmas book is!’.
