3 movie workbooks 3 languages

Each page is a worksheet! 3 workbooks, each in a different language: English, French, German - self-adapting, versatile, generic. You may like to use one workbook in one language only or in a mixture of 2 languages, depending on your subject or on the language ability of your students. All 3 workbooks are identical but for the language in which they are written. If you are using the Word doc version, you can copy and paste tasks from one book into the other to mix up your languages depending on your students’ language ability. You will also find a document with suggestions for use and differentiation in this pack. Workbook files are provided in 2 formats, i.e. letter and A4 both as Word doc and as a pdf file. Ideal for class work, cover lessons and self-study, most tasks will fit the majority of movies watched and studied in schools. Tasks appeal to a variety of skills: discussion, communication, observation, explanation and more. Students are also challenged to use their creativity and justify their answers. Please kindly respect the time it took to write up the enclosed sheets. Fairness deal: I will keep my price low. In return please be fair to me and do not pass this resource to colleagues unless you or your school have purchased the school licence for this resource too. Thank you. :) If you like this resource, please kindly leave me a review. Come back and see what else is new in my shop at any time. Enable your students to talk about 24 football-related pictures during various suggested activities. This Soccer or Football activity pack contains a PowerPoint presentation, cue cards, 32 different Bingo mats and a vocabulary list, as well as a multi-player board game to encourage speaking and learning through play. In an attempt to accommodate my colleagues in various parts of the world I am including files in different formats, i.e. letter/A4 and tabloid/A3 and using UK/US terminology. Should I have unintentionally missed any words, please do not mark me down in a review. Rather feel free to contact me and I shall work with you to remedy this asap. Formats and terminology used are always made clear in a filename, e.g. ‘soccer’ refers to US/CA, ‘football’ refers to the UK terminology. If no format is mentioned, then the file is in the A4 format. If no language clue is included then the file applies to the English taught in the country of the website :) Please kindly respect the time it took me to construct the enclosed sheets. Fairness deal: I will keep my price low. In return please be fair to me and do not pass this resource to colleagues unless you or your school have purchased the school licence for this resource too. Movie Work Book in 3 Language Versions

(0)
3 work books in one resource: English, French, German. Suitable for any movie, any subject + suggestions for use and differentiation; For copyright-reasons I cannot publish (for free or for a price) any work books which contain any names, pictures, even titles relating to any particular movies. Therefore I created this work book to include many of the tasks which I have given my students over the years. The majority of films I have shown throughout my career have been in the French or German language. Therefore, I am including a French and a German version as well as an English version of this work book. Feel free to switch and swap the tasks as you may like to offer your students a mixture of English and either French or German depending on your subject and on their level of language. Pages can stand alone as individual work sheets as long as you remove the numbers from the tasks. All of the tasks assume that you, as the teacher, have watched the movie prior to showing it to and discussing it with your students. Please bear in mind that since this is merely a generic work book, you will need to complete several of the sections in order to direct the tasks at your chosen movie. I have tried to make any adjustments easy for you in the following ways: • by providing the work books in two size formats, i.e. A4 and letter format • by providing you with the Microsoft Word version of the work book as well as a pdf version • by providing this booklet full of suggestions for adjustments, use and differentiation • by presenting tasks in easy to complete tables, ready to receive and centre your written or illustrative content • by including the same work book in 3 languages so that you may switch English tasks in for comprehension if you are teaching French or German and for differentiation if your students need to put comprehension before language. I hope you and your students enjoy this work book :) If you would prefer a work book which is generic and does NOT HAVE TO BE ADAPTED, then please take a look at my ‘generic all movie work book’ - also in 3 languages. https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/english-french-german-movie-workbooks-generic-self-adapting-and-versatile-11923787

Literacy vocabulary any subject any age

Use this board game to consolidate literacy in any subject: vocabulary, spellings, letters, this is not just for Primary English classes. Most can be adapted to any subject, at any age or stage. This game was put together for my students to encourage them to widen their vocabulary. They do so by thinking that little bit harder about their answers and the game also draws on their memory as they play repeatedly and learn from other players’ answers too. As a teacher you may like to adapt the suggested rules to your own teaching content. Therefore the document with suggestions is included as a .pdf file as well as editable Word document. The game board is available in 4 different formats: letter and tabloid, A4 and A3. I very much hope your students enjoy this game too. Please kindly respect that it took a while to construct the enclosed resource. Fairness deal: I will keep my price low. Literacy cue cards 196 adjectives and 130 verbs

Alphabet Cards with Animal Letters

These cute animal alphabet cards (upper case) are included in both letter format and A4 format to facilitate their printing around the world. Although these are primarily aimed at younger learners, they could equally be used with older learners, e.g. for ESL purposes. These cards lend themselves ideally for the teaching of the alphabet, letters and sounds alike. The idea of the animal representing the letter on each card could be extended to encourage students to find more words, e.g. words beginning with that letter to describe the animal or its activities etc… Or why not encourage your class to be inspired by these cards and come up with their own themed alphabet ? There are 2 letters (i.e. 2 cards) per page. Please kindly respect that it takes a while to construct the enclosed resource. Fairness deal: I will keep my price low. Halloween Logic Puzzle English ESL

Halloween Logic Puzzle English ESL

(0)
This is a logic puzzle activity for English Speakers or learners of English. Learners will enjoy working in pairs or groups to share their understanding of the clues and discuss their suggestions for allocating witches from different countries to the correct houses, working out their pets and favourite drinks as well as their hats. It’s all a bit ‘eek’, but good fun nonetheless. :) Logic puzzles not only help to exercise the brain, they also further the development of learners’ deduction skills, critical thinking ability and strategy skills. If working together, students will also use and grow their communication skills. Please bear in mind that like most logic puzzles, this one also contains a stage at the end, when students will need to try various final steps to establish the status which meets the requirements of each and every clue in the game. This puzzle is not impossible to resolve. There is a solution sheet for the teacher. I would therefore suggest you try this puzzle out first if you have time, as this will help you determine if and how to support your students with further clues without giving away the solution. One of the files included in this pack contains suggestions for use and differentiation of this resource with learners of all language abilities. I hope you and your students enjoy this activity. Please bear in mind the time it took to put together the included resource. Therefore please be sure to purchase the school license, if you intend to share this puzzle with colleagues. If you like this resource, please come back and tell me so. Feel free to browse my store any time. Thank you, ©MosaiK
