I have been working as a head of department for over 10 years. I've recently stepped down to a part-time role so to free up some time to do my masters. I'm also looking to create high quality resources for the music classroom.

A PowerPoint presentation that explores what a special event composition might be and then asks the question whether or not you can write music for what happened on Sept 11. Have used the presentation along with extracts of Mozart's Requiem and asked students to consider what music could or would be appropriate.
