This pack contains summary sheets, gap fill, and labelling of the main processes occurring in the nephron. Ultrafiltration, selective reabsorption, water reabsorption at the Loop of Henle and the control of ADH aquaporins and their affect on the permeability of the collecting duct. There are page numbers on the sheets and these refer to pages in the Pearson Y2 OCR Biology A book although any A level Biology text book would suffice.

With this pack students can learn about the menstrual cycle (independently or as part of a class activity) in detail using information, labelling diagrams, filling in gaps and answering practice questions. As well as all of this students will be taught (along with my YouTube video) an effective technique to help remember one of the most difficult things to learn in GCSE BiologyI have used this technique in my own classes and the students have found very useful. When I teach this I finish the lessons with a set of exam questions made using the OCR Exam Builder. Your Exams officer in school should be able to set you up with an account. The Exam Builder from OCR is free. in situ and ex situ methods of maintaining biodiversity • In situ conservaton including marine conservaton zones and wildlife reserves • ex situ conservaton including seed banks, botanic gardens and zoos. (i) internatonal and local conservaton agreements made to protect species and habitats. Historic and/or current agreements, including the Conventon on Internatonal Trade in Endangered Species (CITES), the Rio Conventon on Biological Diversity (CBD) and the Countryside Stewardship Scheme (CSS).
