Step into the NHS for KS3 Step into the NHS is an exciting KS3 resource and competition, designed to help raise students’ career aspirations and awareness of over 350 different NHS careers. **Teacher resources ** Our one lesson launch allows you to deliver the key learning outcomes in one hour with no extra planning required. Supplemented by optional worksheets, a teacher guide and slides, the resource allows your students to: explore a wide range of careers develop their job-seeking skills better understand there is an NHS career for them, no matter their interests and skills. The one lesson launch is a ready-made lesson plan that is curriculum-linked and can help you meet the Gatsby benchmarks for Good Career Guidance. **Enter the national competition ** After discovering some of the over 350 careers in the NHS, students will research one and create a job advert to tell their friends about it, including the skills, qualifications and experience needed. Step into the NHS for primary schools Step into the NHS is an exciting KS2 resource and national competition, designed to help raise pupils’ career aspirations, challenge stereotyping and develop awareness of over 350 different NHS careers. Teacher resources The KS2 one lesson launch resource allows your pupils to: explore a wide range of careers challenge common myths and misconceptions about NHS careers better understand that all NHS careers are open to them, whatever their gender or background. The one lesson launch is a ready-made lesson plan, supplemented by optional worksheets, quizzes and videos. You can use it to: deliver the key learning objectives of the competition in one hour help you meet the Department for Education’s careers strategy introduce meaningful career-related learning to your pupils.
