I have a wealth of resources that are aimed primarily at KS4 and KS5; however, there are some useful KS3 tasks that have been uploaded this year. Topics at KS5 include: Russia and its Rulers, 1855-1941; Later Tudors, 1547-1603; Popular Culture and the Witchcraze of the 16th and 17th Centuries; Italian Unification, 1830-1870; and Germany, 1890-1990. As well as History, I also have a few resources relating to Geography and ICT that some users may find helpful.

AQA History GCSE: Restoration England - Exam Pack

(0)
A selection of exam questions based on the four chapters/sections of the Hodder Restoration England GCSE from AQA. Some of these have come from the specimen papers on the AQA website, whereas others have been created by me (DISCLAIMER: THESE QUESTIONS SHOULD NOT BE TAKEN AS A PRECISE REFLECTION OF WHAT COULD COME UP IN THE EXAM!) I have also given examples based on the Royal Observatory Environment Study.

Conflict and Tension: Anschluss & Appeasement

Resources relating to the AQA 9-1 GCSE Option ‘Conflict & Tension: 1918-1939’. Included is 2-3 lessons’ worth of activities tackling the Anschluss and introducing Chamberlain’s policy of appeasement. This is part of a larger bundle covering the entire unit, which can be purchased from my shop. This resource was originally designed for OneNote teaching; however, it can easily be adapted to exercise book teaching in under 5mins. Simply change the phrase ‘in OneNote’ to ‘in your exercise books’ on the PowerPoint. Both the course textbooks from Hodder and Oxford/Pearson are needed to access some of the activities (however, alternatives can no doubt be found).

Peacemaking 1918-19 and the League of Nations - Wilson's 14 Points

(0)
A worksheet with answers for anyone studying peacemaking and the League of Nations. This corresponds to the current AQA GCSE History B specification, however it can also be adapted for any board or age level. Also, please check out my other worksheets on this topic.
Thomas Becket's Murder - Source Assessment

Thomas Becket's Murder - Source Assessment

(1)
Source assessment on the murder of Thomas Becket. Quite challenging for Yr 7 pupils, so I would recommend going through one/two sources in class using the Analysis/Evaluation template. Included is the set of 4 sources, a template and a marking grid (that can be adapted to various other assessments). This can be easily differentiated by offering fewer sources or adding more descriptions to the sources.

History Handbook Template

(0)
A detailed History Handbook that can easily be tweaked to suit your school's Department. Included is information on relevant policies and I have highlighted in red the things that will need to be tweaked/filled in to make this document relevant to your school. This is an extensive document (30 pages, hence the price) that took a long time to put together. I have left in marking grids and SOW that I feel could be useful. I hope this is helpful!
Earth's Story
PaulMidPaulMid

Earth's Story

(0)
A challenging worksheet focusing on 'Earth's Story' and what order things first appeared on Earth. This was used as an introductory lesson in Year 7 Geography; however, it could certainly be incorporated into Science SOW on Evolution, or as an introductory History lesson on chronology! The first half of the worksheet is relatively straightforward; however, some students may need supporting with the final question (Earth's story as a 24hr clock) as it is a tricky concept for some to get their heads around.

Russia and its Rulers: 1855-1964

(0)
Revision/Summary table for the OCR Unit 3 topic: Russia and its Rulers, 1855-1964. The idea of this worksheet is to help students plan and write thematic essays. Students need to complete the table by bullet pointing the main social, economic and political events from each period. They then need to colour code the bullet points based on 6 'mini themes' (that are often the focus of exam questions). Using this colour coded system, students should be able to easily spot the trends going through the course and can pull this out when planning an essay question.

PaulMidPaulMid

OCR A Level History: Russia, 1894-1941

(1)
A revision table to be used in preparation for Qs 1a and 2a of the A Level Russia exam. This table lists some of the key topics that students may be given in the question; they must then list the factors involved in causing this event. Included is a set of possible factors that they may put for each section, although this is by no means comprehensive. They can then use this table for question practice, by choosing two of their factors and writing an answer comparing them.
