This resource outlines 28 lessons to teach the unit and allows students/staff to tick off each lesson when taught. This can be used as a book insert for students or a simple guide to teaching staff. This sheet provides a clear overview of all topics needed for Edexcel’s Germany 1918-39 Paper 3. Best enlarged onto A3 or given to students as an example of how to structure revision. This has worked particularly well for my lower ability students and provides other students a useful starting point for their revision.

This is a one page resource which acts as a revision tool for the Superpower Relations and Cold War topic. Students can easily see the whole topic on one sheet and use this to begin their revision and use the diagram as a checklist. Student feedback has suggested that more able students liked how the diagram acted as an effective starting point for revision whereas weaker students liked how the diagram made revision for the topic seem more manageable.

This is a very useful resource to help students structure their revision for an end of unit assessment or their final exam. It has been organised Chronologically but also provides students with the information to revise thematically. I would suggest enlarging to A3 if possible and students have found this a great starting point to their revision as it sets out all of the topics covered in the American West on one sheet. Please note that this is a single sheet resource, but due to the time it took to produce this, I hope this reflects the asking price for it. Hopefully it can last you many years.

This lesson allows students to use a wide range of sources to investigate the events of the Christmas truce during 1914. Students will use evidence from the diaries and letters of soldiers from both sides who experienced the ceasefire and build a picture of what happened. They will then use this knowledge to evaluate the usefulness and historical accuracy of modern interpretations of the truce such as adverts, films and music videos.
