This is a Power Point presentation and worksheet perfect for GCSE English Language and Functional Skills Level 1- 2.
The learners are asked to act as journalists, watching a report about the Hatton Garden Gang and taking notes to locate the vital information.
The learners then get into groups of three or four and answer questions on the report. The worksheet allows the students to answer the questions on paper. The answers are provided on the Power Point.
The Power Point then asks the learners to partake in a board blast to list what they would include in a newspaper article and some answers are provided.
Finally, the learners can use some time to research the gang before creating a newspaper article on the Hatton Garden Gang appealing to the public for information on the missing suspect.
