Sensory maths stories are a great way to introduce pupils at P 1-4 to maths, with a subject that is often difficult to keep fresh and engaging. The aim of this maths story is to engage pupils with maths in a fun and interactive way and is centered around the idea of visiting a fair. You will need to gather a few resources as your props - hopefully things you will find around your classroom. It is planned to be used once or twice a week over a half term - you will find that the story improves with the telling! It is important to have as much fun as possible! Included in this pack: sensory story choosing board sensory story instruction sheet instructions on how to set up and run this story If you like this story, please visit my TES shop (Red Robin sensory stories) to see other resources that you may find useful.
