AQA English Language Paper 1 Section A Revision - Detailed Focus on Question 4
A series of six revision ‘masterclass’ lessons designed to improve students’ responses to question 4 on Paper 1. Students often struggle with this part of the paper so I have created this resource specifically to build students’ confidence in tackling this question.
Each lesson includes learning objectives, a starter and review activity, model answers and opportunities for students to self/peer assess and reflect upon their own progress.
I have also created a full exam paper for each of the texts so that students can also practise completing questions 1 - 3.

An Ofsted judged 'Outstanding' creative writing lesson. The lesson is based around the theme of gothic horror and includes a number of activities to extend students' vocabulary and variety of sentence structures.
A lesson focused on improving students' vocabulary and sentence structures culminating in students writing a description of a circus. Students will read a short extract from 'The Night Circus' to stimulate discussion. A mixture of independent and collaborative activities designed to demonstrate progress throughout the lesson.
