Differentiated rounding activity. In each game board 4 mystery numbers have been rounded 4 different ways. The students must group ‘families’ of numbers together in the table and provide suggestions of what the original number could be. Each board contain 16 rounded numbers. There are 3 game boards: Red: Rounding to the nearest 1000, 100, 10 and unit. Amber: Rounding to the nearest 10, unit, 1 and 2 decimal places. Green: Rounding to the nearest 1 and 2 decimal places, 2 and 3 significant figures.
