Two lessons to introduce practical terminology to KS3 students.
Lesson 1: What is meant by: an aim, hypothesis, variables. How to draw tables and collect results. There are worksheets, crosswords and wordsearches to be used alongside the presentation.
Lesson 2: Focuses on drawing graphs. There is a homework activity that can be used at the end of lesson 2.
KS4 AQA Biodiversity for Separate Sciences Biology and Trilogy Science (the last slide shows it is specifically for Biology only). It is an intense lesson suggested for a Double or Double and Single lesson.
It covers impacts on land, to the air and water (including Bioaccumulation and Eutrophication).
New spec AQA GSCE 4.1.3 Transport in cells. Covering diffusion, factors affecting (concentration gradient and temperature - practical for temperature). Diffusion in living organisms could be covered in a second lesson.
