I am a Spanish and French teacher working in Secondary. In my shop, I have shared a range of free and paid resources, all of which I have used with my own KS3, GCSE and A Level classes. I believe passionately that all pupils can make excellent progress in MFL and can achieve highly. 11 different grammar manipulation tasks for pupils studying GCSE or IGCSE to hone their knowledge on a particular tense or topic. The pupils must make 10 words fit grammatically within a text on a specific GCSE theme. These tasks are written in style for Question 8 of the NEW IGCSE specification (Edexcel) but will be useful for any pupils who need to practise their grammar within the context of the GCSE themes and context.

A comprehensive list of phrases and structures for pupils to revise and to aim to include in their speaking/writing. This is a final definitive list my own pupils have been using in the run up to the exams, trying to include examples in their speaking and writing. The list includes everything from modal verbs and opinion phrases to subjunctives clauses and conditional sentences. The phrases are split into 22 groups, each with some translation practice too, so as pupils can see how easy it is to manipulate these themselves. This is a resource I have used with my 6th Form pupils as part of the new A Level course, to prepare them for the translation component. There is a reference sheet/ revision sheet of key verbal constructions and their prepositions in Spanish. There is also lots of translation practice and nearly every one of these sentences requires pupils to choose one of the prepositional constructions. The translation practice covers the themes of: music, the world of work and the impact of tourism in Spain.

A comprehensive list of complex and sophisticated structures for pupils to use to help them with their writing. A mixture of these constructions in an answer will help pupils to access higher bands of marks for range and accuracy. This is a vocabulary builder for teaching school subjects and opinions that will allow pupils to make progress quickly. The language mat contains all the vocabulary needed for pupils to be able to write and talk about their subjects and the activities are incremental and will engage pupils actively with the vocabulary. Resource for lesson 1 with a KS3 group starting Spanish. The material is based on Zoom 1 Vamos but can stand alone without the textbook. The PowerPoint begins with some geographical and cultural stimulus, followed by introducing yourself in Spanish and then some key classroom instructions. There is fun YouTube video linked to the vocabulary and a Memrise for use with BYOD group or for homework.
