I am currently teaching geography and environmental management at an international school following the British curriculum. KS3 geography resources follows the Oxford geog textbooks. KS4 geography resources follows the Edexcel curriculum although there is crossover into the AQA curriculum too. KS4 environmental management follows the Cambridge curriculum although there is also useful resources which can be used for KS4 geography. All lessons have been used by myself and taught in class.

This lesson follows the Oxford KS3 curriculum and looks at the world’s biomes specifically tundra, taiga, temperate forest, rainforest, savanna and desert. Students have information sheets provided which they will use to explore these biomes including their climate, animals and vegetation and what they look like. More advanced students should also be able to explore why they are located where they are. This lesson includes a starter, lesson objective, plenary and various student led activities.
