I was born in Lisbon, lived in various parts of the country, lived in England, and returned to Portugal 9 years ago. I trained as an Early Years Teacher in Portugal. In England, I was awarded QTS and a couple years later completed a Masters of Science in Education and Training Management. Throughout my teaching journey, I have had many roles which contributed to my personal and professional growth. I worked as an early years teacher, special needs teacher, kindergarten teacher, crèche teacher, playworker, nursery nurse, children's centre teacher, ESOL tutor, and PYP teacher. I enjoy going to the theatre, playing tennis and writing poems.
