A short but complete Scheme of Learning introducing KS3 students to begin to develop some of the skills they will need for their GCSE Language Papers. The SoL is focused around the Ray Bradbury short story ‘All Summer in a Day,’ and covers a range of skills including language and structural analysis, Creative Writing and Persuasive Writing. All resources included.

A full Scheme of Learning of poetry study based around the theme of Relationships. Students learn how to analyse, annotate, compare and write about a variety of different poems. The aim is to develop skills they will need for their Anthology Poetry study at GCSE. We use this SoL with Year 9, but it could be used with other students and Year groups as well.
