Hi, I’m Sophie — a qualified primary school teacher with experience across Early Years, KS1, and KS2, including mixed-age classes, phonics intervention, and one-to-one support. I left full-time teaching to focus on online tutoring, and I create resources that reflect how children actually learn — clear, engaging, and rooted in real classroom experience. I have a particular specialism in phonics and early reading, and I’m familiar with the main systematic synthetic phonics programmes used in schools today. Alongside my teaching qualification, I hold a degree in Fine Art, which means my resources tend to have a considered, calm visual style rather than the cluttered, busy look that can make learning harder for some children.
